Pickleball Background:
Born in Brazil and now a dual Brazilian-Canadian citizen, Carolina has been living in Canada for the past 10 years. She has played pickleball for five years and brings a strong athletic background in tennis, volleyball, and squash. With a DUPR doubles rating of 5.2, Carolina has established herself as one of Canada’s top players and coaches.

Career Highlights:
Carolina has been competing as a pro player in Canada for nearly four years. Her accomplishments include winning the CNPL Championship in 2023, becoming both the Canadian National Champion and Ontario Champion in 2024, and representing Team Canada at MiLP 2024 and the World Cup in 2025. She is also an NCCP Level 2 coach with OPA/Rally and coached Canada’s U16 team at the 2025 World Cup.

Off the Court:
Carolina’s coaching work is nearly full-time, alongside running her own export/import consulting business. She is also a proud soccer and baseball mom to her two teenage sons, and she enjoys cheering them on in their sports. At home, she shares life with her wife Marcos and their dog Belle. She also volunteers with an organization that supports Brazilian immigrants in Canada.

Fun Facts:
Carolina is 5'4", has a big appetite - especially after tournaments, and her favourite dessert is pistachio gelato.
