Bruno Faletto

Location: New York City, New York, USA

Pickleball Background:
Before pickleball, Bruno was a former professional and college tennis player with a career-high ATP ranking of 1,600. He also had a standout collegiate career at Saint Leo University in Tampa, Florida, where he earned major honors including National Freshman of the Year, National Rookie of the Year, South Region Senior of the Year, and four ITA All-American selections. He reached as high as No. 2 in NCAA Division II singles and No. 3 in doubles nationally.

After graduating in May 2022, Bruno moved to New York City for a job in Manhattan. While balancing a full-time career made high-level tennis no longer realistic, he still wanted to compete and stay active as an athlete. That led him to pickleball in November 2022.

Career Highlights:
Bruno is currently the No. 1 ranked player in both New York City and Chile by DUPR, as well as South America’s No. 5 ranked player. He reached a career-high DUPR doubles rating of 6.42 in October 2025. On the pro circuit, he has earned two professional medals - one in a PPA Challenger event and one in APP competition - along with more than 40 gold medals in Tri-State Area prize money tournaments.

Off the Court:
Outside of pickleball, Bruno works full-time as a Sales Account Manager at Munro & Associates and also coaches pickleball part-time on Long Island. As his pickleball career continues to grow, he’s considering whether coaching full-time may be in his future.

Fun Facts:
Bruno brings a high-performance tennis pedigree to the court and has quickly become one of the top-ranked players in his region since making the switch to pickleball.
