
Pickleball Background:
Darrin has been playing pickleball for five years and was first introduced to the sport at his local community centre, where he played with his dad. Before pickleball, he competed in squash, badminton, and volleyball, which helped shape his athletic foundation and style of play.
Career Highlights:
Darrin has competed in the CNPL’s second season and has earned more than 10 Open-level medals across tournaments in Canada. He continues to compete at the highest level nationally and is focused on growing his presence in the sport each year.
Off the Court:
Away from competition, Darrin is studying at York University as he works toward becoming a teacher. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, and fishing whenever he gets the chance.
Fun Facts:
Darrin is a self-proclaimed ice cream connoisseur and also enjoys collecting sports cards and Pokémon cards.
